Life Is All About Karma – You Get What You Give & Reap What You Sow.

Life is also, all about balance and it is full of duality.

Having ups and downs is an inescapable part of the human experience. Therefore, it is in our best interest to know how to move in both situations. Whether we are up or down. Whether things seem to be going our way, or against us.

The truth is, the one way we need to be always moving, is forward. Whether life seems to be complying or not. However, our vision of where we are heading needs to contain zero modesty. Although, modesty and being humble, is also an invaluable, must-have, characteristic.

The Importance Of Honesty And Humility

We need humility and modesty to be built into our characters so that the wins we amass along the way, leave us unchanged. The extra income we make, leads to no extra expenditure because we remain exactly the same, inwardly, as before. Through modesty and humility, we avoid the trap of getting arrogant, cocky, or condescending because of our increased success.

Modesty and humility give us a certain nonchalance and distance from the outward results that we achieve. Our results, never define us. The journey, on the other hand, does. How we spend our time and our actions, do define us. Our job is to do the best we can with the time we have. Whatever wins we amass to a certain degree is irrelevant because the clock keeps ticking regardless and the journey, continues. We still have new goals and new wins to achieve and these demand the very best of us, if we are to achieve them.

So, for these reasons modesty and humility, should always be baked into whatever we do. Those two ingredients are vitals parts of our “secret sauce”. That make whatever we do, come out as right as possible.

However, on the contrary, our vision of our goals and what we are seeking to achieve must be as grandiose as possible. There is just no telling how far, or high, our endeavours can take us. Therefore, we are to aim at it all, or, to get it all. Whatever market we seek to operate in. We are to seek out what the best practices are, and seek to at least match and hopefully, beat them.

We should always aim to be second to none. Attention to detail and a comittment to excellence should be present in all that we do because we are aiming for it all. At all times we are to carry the internal objective, of seeking to do our best. Knowing that the only time we can receive the best is when we do our best. Now, competition and comparison, if we let it can steal our joy, our sanity and our peace.

Being The Best And Doing Your Best – The Difference.

Whenever we move our focus from ourselves and our desires (which are internal). To the external, what other people are doing. We move from focusing on creating our best reality or lives, to simply trying to be the best for the sake of it. Life is less about self, in the sense of being self centered and more about self, in the sense of giving our best. Put a different way, life is less about what we receive and more so about what we give. We should always be aiming to do our best as opposed to, being the best. Being the best is only relevant as it pertains to us, doing our best, the fact that both sides of this coin are inextricable parts of the same coin might be confusing to some. However, to try and simplify, arguably being the best and doing your best are different ends of the same spectrum.

The healthy, altruistic side of the spectrum is doing your best. The selfish and toxic side of the spectrum is seeking to be the best. Order, is important here too. It is in our best interest to seek to do our best and organically grow from there, to hopefully be the best overall via our own organic growth.

When we start out trying to best the best first and foremost, we are motivated by ego and what is going on outside of ourselves. The one thing out of our control in life, is what is going on outside of ourselves. Moreover, love is really important here. As always, love is the best evidence of wisdom and guide, for living life right.

Motivated By Love.

Ultimately, whatever we do should be motivated by love. Step one in life is always to follow and engage our passions. Despite what may happen in the short term. In the long run, it is easier to achieve mastery when we are doing what we love to do.

It is also easier for us to give our all, to have the necessary grit and comittment it takes to overcome all challenges, when we are doing what we love to do. Step one is always to start from a place of love. We are to also seek to do our very best in all we do and hopefully a combination of these two steps, we lead us to eventually be the best. Being the best, is the last part of the equation.

When we apply the first two steps, we should find that we have a sense of meaning, fulfillment and a level of success that we can live with.

However, when you are passionate about something, you also want to know everything about it too. You want to know what the best practice is, for every aspect of whatever it is you do. Being fully informed and educated on what excellence is made up of, in your field. Is a big part of you being able to do your best.

So, we are to aim for it all by doing what we love to do and following our passions. Next, our aim is to become experts on what excellence is in our chosen field. Lastly, we are to do our best in executing what we’ve learned that best practice is.

Once we’ve figured out what excellence is. We should aim for it all. Knowing that we only get back from this life what we put out. We have zero control over the outside world but full control over our own world’s. Therefore, we should always dream as big as possible. Packing  as much color and romance and excellence into our own visions for our lives as we can muster, because our visions are our reasons for being.

Life is a journey that we spend all of our time on, (travelling towards various goals). Living our best lives is using all of our creative powers and the power of love, to ensure that these goals are goals of our own. That have our take on perfection, written all over them.

Whatever level we are at now. Should be used as a plateau that we use to push ourselves from, to reach ever increasing levels of greatness. Let this be the love language that you are perpetually speaking to yourself.

While others for whatever unfortunate reasons, find themselves “mailing it in”. You be different. You be you. The real you that you were always meant to be. If you are alive right now, it means you have time to spend.

That time should be spent on figuring out and then achieving whatever it is you value most, in the most excellent fashion that you can muster. It is high time we bring back, the fun, adventure and joy, that we so easily had present in our lives as children. (Or that children tend to have, if we personally never had a great childhood). As a matter of fact, if we never had a great childhood, arguably we deserve to have an adulthood where our passions are engaged and there is joy, adventure, fun, etc, etc, even more than the next person.

Whatever you do, remember you. The most likely person to help you build your best life, is you. So self care and self love are non negotiable. Start with your passions, become an expert on what excellence is, then aim for it all and do your best to execute excellence. Aim, for it all.
