When we focus on the end goal too much, we miss out on enjoying the joys of the journey. Every major success is made up of many mini victories that were just as essential to making the overall win, possible. Also, an underestimated yet incredibly vital part of winning, is just staying alive (survival). As long we continue to survive, our dreams do too.
Using The Humble Slug, For Motivation.
Whatever your spirit animal happens to be. Take motivation from the humble Slug.
It moves way slower than a Cheetah and although it goes slowly. Every single time you see a Slug, what is it doing? Chances are, it is moving forward. That is how you, need to be.
People may look at you and only see a Clark Kent or Kenta instead of a Superman or Superwoman. However, that is alright. Who cares whether you get the credit you deserve from others? As long as you know you are doing what you need to, that is what counts. To be constantly moving forward is the real goal. If you can make a habit out of achieving progress every single day. Chances are that you, will go a very long way.
Your To-Do List Is Your Guide To Winning.
The more you want out of life, is the more you have to input. Which essentially means you will probably have a very long to do list. This is the part where grit and wisdom, separates the people that do what they know they should from those that fail to execute on what they know they should do. It takes discipline to see a perhaps seemingly insurmountable to-do list and still press on with it anyway. However, if you really want to get the things on your to-do list done. You will need to forget about how long the list is and start working step by step, to complete it.
Admittedly, it can be daunting to have a million things to do at once. However, what is worse, having “too much” to do, or having too little to do? Arguably, it is the latter by far!!!!!!!!!!
The person who has too much to do, is somebody whose life is full of purpose!!!! Their time is precious and full of meaning. Making it hard for that person, or anyone else, to waste their time or money.
This very person has a date with destiny that is full of wonder, marvel and awe. Whilst others are susceptible to distractions. They, on the other hand are committed to the dreams that their heart desires. Whether they are single or married, their life is full of love because their life is built around them pursuing their passions.
You Start Winning, The Moment You Start Giving Your All.
Being about the process and progress, permits us to have the creative freedom to just focus on the quality of work we do whilst we take it one step, at a time. That, is the type of love that our muse, (our life’s mission), is worthy of. Full focus and attention as though nothing else existed. Good things happen when we create in a state of full focus. Here, is where the journey and destination become one and both birds are killed with one stone (so to speak).
No need to try and do everything in one day. Just simply resolve to keep winning by continuing to move towards your end goal, daily. Do all that you know you should everyday and let that consistency give you a sense of peace and fulfillment whilst you journey towards your end goal.
Arguably, the journey is the true destination because the journey lasts way longer than achieving the end goal does. Lastly, the journey never ends (unlike the end goal), but continues as long as we are alive.
