Those who are shooting for the moon is arguably, who the future belongs to.
Those bold and care free enough to dare to be shooting for the moon. Are exactly the types of people, fiery and ambitious enough to take control of their lives. To the extent that they earn and occupy positions of leadership that in turn influences, humanity itself.
Shooting For The Moon Eventually Pays Off.
Whilst most people have to fight internal and external battles. Before they get to a place where they can decide to shoot their shot.
Those brave enough to be shooting for the moon have already quietly decided to chase their most grandiose dreams. After all, if you can shoot your shot, why stop there? What’s stopping you from aiming for the moon?
The shoot for the moon, if you miss you hit the stars saying is more than just a big picture, life philosophy thing.
This saying holds the most power and value, when it is looked at as a daily commitment. A small picture, present in everything that you do, type of vibe.
The Beginning And Ending Are Two Different Things.
The reality is, when we aspire, there are wobbly moments, painful moments, a whole spectrum of feelings, thoughts and experiences that we go through. On our way, our journey, towards our desired goal.
As mentioned in a previous article. The only way to experience new victories, new plateaus and get new results, is for us to do new things.
Which means we are forced to revisit and be an example of how we performed when we first achieved one of our earliest accomplishments. (Learning how to walk). The end product, (mastery), looked nothing like the beginning.

The beginning of us learning how to walk, we probably looked silly. However, we were driven, determined and had a specific goal in mind. Some falls, were included.
Unlike Jay-Z in the booth, most of us were unable to achieve a perfect performance in just one take. On the contrary, we had to keep on trying until we eventually achieved mastery. Honestly, some of us still walk in a quirky way to this day. However, the lesson for all of us in all of this is, that mastery is only possible when we: keep, on, going!!!!
Failing forward, is definitely a thing. However, it is more than that. It is what captures the very essence and beauty of humanity. It is what reflects the special part of life, that we too often take for granted. Whether we get through or fail, we are innately beautiful.
The fifty selfies that we take to get to that one selfie that we actually save and post. All contain the same beauty present in the final pic. However, the difference is that the beauty we have is less obvious, less apparent, than the one that made the final cut.
Shooting For The Moon Is A Journey Thing Too.
The lesson in all of this is to love ourselves unconditionally and to believe ourselves innately beautiful, regardless of our ability to see that beauty.
Moreover, the beauty of the journey, of us persisting, is important for us to remember too. We were one hundred percent right to keep on going until we got that perfect selfie to post. However, we were/are one hundred percent wrong if we made the mistake of categorizing the prior fifty selfies, as ugly.
The truth is, all fifty one pics are beautiful. The fifty first one, is just the pic that best captures, our beauty.
If there is one conclusion to be gotten from this article it’s that we are to commit to shooting our best shots everyday.
Everyday, we need to keep on going regardless of how the results look. It’s less about the results and more so about our abilities to make progress.
Moreover, as mentioned in a previous article, our endeavours are supposed to be fun and add value to our lives. They are never supposed to consistently be a burden. There is a difference between having a loss or temporary setback and doing something that is never fun.
It is completely okay to stop doing something that turns out to be undesirable. Stress, failure, mistakes, losses, negativity (to an extent) are all part of being alive. However, ultimately what you do should bring you joy and make your life better.
If this is impossible, move on and spend your time and energy on something else that pays you back in fun. Getting paid is cool, amazing even. However, our calling, our purpose for being here, should pay us twice (spiritually and financially, everyday).
